Empowering Families, Enriching Childhoods

Children

The Jackson County Children's Policy Council (CPC) was founded on the belief that meaningful change for children and families begins at the community level. Established in alignment with Alabama's statewide initiative to ensure that every county has a CPC, our mission has always been to identify local needs and collaborate on solutions that make a tangible impact. Since our inception, we have focused on addressing challenges with a hands-on approach, working closely with partners to foster a safer, healthier, and more supportive environment for our youth.

As our work has evolved, so too has our organization. Recognizing the need to expand our reach and resources, we have recently formed a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wing. This development allows us to actively fundraise and apply for grants, enhancing our ability to support and create programs that benefit the children and families of Jackson County. Our roots are deep, but our vision for the future is even deeper, grounded in our commitment to making a lasting difference in our community.
